Police on the hunt for a 7ft metal sasquatch
MARSHALL, MI – Michigan State Police (MSP) troopers are investigating the theft of a seven-foot-tall sasquatch lawn ornament.
The sasquatch was taken from a property on West End Road near Heimbach Road, Park Township, St. Joseph County, on or after March 22. the sasquatch’s fur, Michigan State Police said in a news release.
It appears the sasquatch was cut from a steel pole with a pair of bolt cutters or similar cutting implement, police said.
Residents advised that a white-paneled van with darkened driver and passenger side windows was seen parked in the area on March 22. The van was then observed turning around in the victim’s driveway and leaving the scene heading north toward Heimbach Road, police said.
