Fortnite: where to find lightsabers

If you’re wondering where to find lightsabers in Fortnite, then you’re not alone. Here’s a quick guide on where you can get them.

With the last Fortnite 20.30 Update live, Epic Games brought lightsabers back to the game as part of the “Star Wars May the 4th” quests.

The developers have introduced six new challenges and a few of them require you to have the iconic lightsaber equipped in order to complete the quest.

So if you haven’t been able to find one or don’t know how to find it, here’s a quick guide on how and where to find lightsabers in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2.

Where to find Lightsabers in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2

Lightsabers in Fortnite are one of the most beloved weapons in the game and have been brought back to celebrate May 4 or Star Wars Day. The developers have added four Fortnite lightsabers, including those owned by Luke Skywalker, Kylo Ren, Mace Windu, and Obi-Wan Kenobi for the first time.

Each lightsaber is almost similar in color and design to its owners. A few quests also require you to wield lightsabers and use them during certain scenarios in the game.

Since their return, lightsabers have been a buzz around town and many have tried to find them in the game. You can find lightsabers in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2 as floor loot or in chests. These are the only two ways to find the lightsabers in the game, for now, so you might have to do a bit of hunting.

There’s no guaranteed spawn location for the Lightsaber in Fortnite, so your best bet for finding one is to go to an area with lots of loot. Lightsabers are categorized as Mythic Weapons, so watch out for items with a yellow glow as they might be just what you need. They are also quite small, which makes them easier to hide in plain sight. However, their orange glow should make them an easy thing to find.

High-density loot areas, such as Points of Interest, will have a higher chance of containing Lightsabers. So you can start from there. Alternatively, you can kill enemies and loot lightsabers from their corpses as well.

Similar to Jetpacks, each lightsaber will take up one inventory slot, and these can be considered a more powerful pickaxe. However, lightsabers can also be used to block blows when used with precision.
